Default What does my serial number mean?

Hello,

I don’t even want to mention how many Smith basses I’ve owned. This is by far my favorite but the serial number is throwing me for a loop.

The model is 6EG232103F.

What the heck is the “F”?

So 6EG 6 Elite Graphite
Number 2321
Built 2003
F = ?

Lightbulb

F is for quilted {figured} maple. The Q looks like an O stamped into the wood so I use the F.
