Can anyone tell me what the F at the end of the serial # on my 99 BSR 5EG Quilted Top stands for.................Thanks

The "F" is for figured maple or Quilted maple but not Tiger maple. The letter "Q" looks too much like an "O" (oh) when stamped into the wood so I changed it to "F". Also, sometimes the wood is mixed figure of Tiger and Quilt together or something wild so there I use the "F" as well.
