Adam, sorry for the delay in answering. The scroll and restoration of the Prescott was done By Oskar Kappelmeyer in Passau,Germany.the scroll and tailpiece were modeled from photos of the 1823 Prescott courteously supplied by the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston . You can see Oskars work on his webpage. I use a 5 string of his in the symphony which is a copy of a ca.1780's Sebastian Dallinger Viennese bass. Best 5 string I have ever played!
Of course if you are stopping over in Iceland I'd be glad to show you my basses and have a beer....you too Ken if you are ever passing through.
