It comes through the mix really well actually. There is so much flexibility in the EQ on the bass that it's hard to really answer though.. Anything I say can be enhanced or defeated by EQ settings..

Anyway, I play a BSR4EG fretless, woods are quilted maple top/back, walnut laminates, koa core.




As for sound samples, go to my band's myspace page and listen to our demo songs. The best one to hear the Smith in is There And Back Again.
