I've seen the video of the speech in which MLK exclaimed this. He was behind a podium, so I'm not sure if the hammer dropped or not. I'm sorry to hear that yours did. So, I guess you can now add a new verse to the song If I Had Hammer. I'm also hopeful that you didn't sustain a hammer toe in this instance.

We call them hammer head sharks. I suppose because their heads look like hammers. We don't call our hammers, for some reason, sharks. Isn't that weird?
