what core wood is that? it's very dark.

Hard to tell exactly from the picture. Either Walnut or Mahogany.

If I remember correctly it's mahogany.

Time went by and I grew older... and too little time playing my Smith bass. Wish I could work less with TV production and more with music. Otherwise life is great...
