Bubinga? No.

Birdseye Redwood is a very rare wood and Ken only made a few basses with it. In fact, I had never seen this wood used until Ken introduced it with his 20th. Anniversary Models. The KSA6 I had posted is 1 of 3 made. I believe the origin of this wood was California.

I'm not aware of an "Exhibition" or 5A grade of Bubinga. While Bubinga can have a nice figure (some nicer than others), it is a heavier but also great sounding tone-wood.
