The German/Czech Border in Bohemia is where this is made. The "Made In" has to do with import duty usually. Shops on both sides of the border worked together.

This is Plywood or carved? Can't tell from your pics. The flames might be painted on as I don't see them inside the bass on the back.

This is probably made between the two wars. Maybe 1930s. Maybe later.

If you don't know anything about it, how do you know it was a good price? The neck is perfect? The set-up is perfect? Some repairs can cost thousands and repairs can often exceed the value of the bass.
