I have always used GeorgeL's for theater touring because of the low profile .225 cable are 1/4 of the weight of the same length Monsters. My cables all have right angle plugs on them so my output jack doesn't take a hit... they also sound great. I did also change the plug to a right angle on th cable that came with my fretless.The lower the profile of the cable coming from the bass th3e less chance of damaging the jack.
