My ES-1 has a set of the pizz strings. I did have a problem with the "A" string. It had a metallic buzz or "brang" to it. I had it replaced and have had no problems since then.

I am picking up my Christopher Hybrid this weekend and I will be trying Pirastro Jazzers on it.
